'A Chorus Line' cast member to share memories at Westport Library

An original cast member of the musical, "A Chorus Line," will share reminiscences of her role in the popular Broadway musical Thursday at the Westport Library.

Carole Schweid will speak in conjunction with the screening of a documentary about the making of the musical.

Schweid, a Westport resident, is an actress, singer, dancer, producer and director. She is the artistic director of the lunch-time play reading series, "Play With Your Food." Her credits also include the Broadway productions of "Minnie's Boys" and "Pippin."

The film will be shown at 2 p.m., with remarks by Schweid following the film. Admission and refreshments are free.

The final film in the library's summer series, "The Conversation," starring Gene Hackman, will be shown Thursday, Aug. 21. For more information, call 203 291-4800.
