Paul Albini, 20, of New Haven charged with driving while intoxicated on Saugatuck Avenue early Friday.
Albini was pulled over about 1 a.m. after an officer saw his vehicle cross the road's double-yellow traffic line and veer into the opposite lane of approaching traffic, according to the report.
After he was stopped, police said Albini failed roadside sobriety tests. In addition to DUI, he was charged with failure to drive in the established lane.
Bond was set at $500 and he was scheduled to appear Aug. 19 in Norwalk Superior Court.
