Student assaulted, found unconscious in driveway

WESTPORT -- An 18-year-old Fairfield University student was in serious condition in Norwalk Hospital Sunday, following an early morning assault at a drinking party in a home on Hillspoint Road.

David Keith was found unconscious in a neighboring driveway at 12:51 a.m., suffering from facial and head trauma. He was treated at the scene by Westport EMS and transported to Norwalk Hospital where he is in the Intensive Care Unit, police said.

Police said he had participated in an underage drinking party at Hillspoint Road that was allegedly held by a Fairfield University student and attended by numerous students from Fairfield, Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart universities.
