Ridgefield plans hearing on Main Street improvements

RIDGEFIELD -- There will be a public information meeting hearing at 7 p.m. July 29 in Town Hall to discuss a proposed $3.3 million plan to improve the intersections on Main Street at Catoonah Street, Governor Street and Bailey Avenue downtown.

It's expected the Federal Highway Administration will pay 80 percent of the cost of the project, while Connecticut will provide the remaining 20 percent.
