MILFORD -- Thousands of people lined the streets Saturday to celebrate St. Patrick's Day a few days early.

The weather cooperated with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s.

The parade stepped off after 1 p.m. in downtown Milford at the Parsons Government Complex with more than 50 marching units, several floats and Irish dancers.

In case you missed the St. Patrick's Day Parade, there's another one Sunday in New Haven and another Monday in Bridgeport.

New Haven's parade, passing downtown by the green, will start at 1:30 p.m. It will feature more than 3,000 marchers and plenty of Irish music.

Bridgeport's parade on Monday kick off at noon through the heart of the city's downtown.
