Monday - Presidents’ Day - is a state and federal holiday.

That means many people will have the day off. Not all, but many, especially for government workers, schools, court workers and most bank employees.

Because it;s not a national holiday, non-government businesses get to decide whether to stay open or not.

Anticipating few riders on its trains, Metro-North will be operating on a Saturday schedule.

See train schedules at http://as0.mta.info/mnr/schedules/sched_form.cfm

The north end exits to Grand Central at 46th-47th-48th Streets will be closed.

Off-peak fares are in effect all day.

Presidents Day celebrates all presidents of the United States.

And that includes Donald Trump, whose birthday is Flag Day - June 14 - when he turns 71 years old.
