The Westport Youth Film Festival is joining forces with WishList of Westport, 606 Post Road East, to host a red carpet "VIP Party" fundraiser, a red carpet event that will take place at the teen clothing store today from 6 to 9 p.m.

The WYFF VIP Party will include music, dancing, "paparazzi" snapping photos of all attendees, and an exclusive on-night-only sale where all clothing is 20 percent off. Anyone who joins the Facebook event for the party will be added to the VIP list, and will be admitted to the event free of charge. All attendees who do not join the Facebook event will be asked to pay $10 at the door.

"WishList is really looking forward to hosting an event that will not only benefit our company but a wonderful organization that promotes teens to show their creativity," said WishList Manager Ashley Kane.

WYFF, a local, youth-driven organization that works to produce an annual spring film festival featuring teen film and video submissions, is gearing up for its 2011 festival and recently held the first meeting for its new Board of Directors chosen by Director Matt Kalmans and Development Director Kate Lupo. This year's board is WYFF's most diverse, with students from five different high schools around Fairfield County, including Weston High School, Staples High School, the Bridge Academy, Fairfield Ludlowe High School and Trinity Catholic High School.
