Lorraine Feliciano, Westport Woman's Club Volunteer of the Year, received a Voluntary Action Center of Mid-Fairfield award in a recent ceremony at Norwalk City Hall.

The award, given to volunteers for local outreach agencies by Norwalk Mayor Richard A. Moccia, cited Feliciano's dedication to the club's fundraising and community service efforts.

Feliciano, a Westport resident who has been a club members since 2006, has served on the club's board and as its webmaster and technical adviser. She also volunteers for various club fundraisers, such as the Curio Cottage Thrift Shop, which has raised over $250,000 over the last decade, and the Yankee Doodle Fair, its signature fundraiser.

The club's fundraising activities support Staples High School scholarships and many grants to local community service organizations.
