"Unlimited Creating" is the theme of a four-day program offered by the Westport Historical Society for youngsters during their school break next week.

The program, led by Karen Siegel, a local artist and Silvermine Art School teacher, combines art and music for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

The activities will take place Feb. 22-25, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the historical society, 25 Avery Place. Children may enroll for one or more days. Snack and supplies are provided; participants should bring their own bag lunch.

Each day children will create a mixed-media project that will involve painting, print making, drawing, assemblage and more.

A guest, "Mr. Bungles," will join the program on Mystery Day, with demonstrations of magic, juggling and balloon sculpting, which he will also teach to the children.

The fee for Westport Historical Society members is $45 per day or $180 for the full program; the fee for non-members is $50 per day or $200 for the full program.

Space is limited. Register in advance by calling 203-222-1424. For more information, visit www.westporthistory.org.
