A series of Marc Chagall etchings and lithographs, as well as two Pablo Picasso signed lithographs and works from "Nordic Masters of the Light" artists Petar Tale & Kåre Tveter, will be on display at a special exhibition and sale in Westport through Nov. 21.

The artwork, sourced from a private collection in northern Europe, can be seen at the Green Tree building, 12 Wilton Road, next to the Inn at National Hall.

An opening reception will take place Saturday, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The Chagall hand-colored etchings from the Fables of Fontaine and those of the Gospel series were procured from Chagall's widow, Vava Brodsky, during the 40 years that this private collection has been built. The curator, Jonathan Learn, a former Westport resident currently residing in Hamar, Norway, said he is proud to be back in Westport to present this exhibit.

A percentage of the proceeds will benefit the Westport Arts Center.
