The Weston ski teams compiled a 10-2 record through its first four races of the season. In its last three races, the Weston boys team defeated Barlow, Greenwich, Amity and Danbury in recent meets. Junior Ryan Vogel was its top skier in the team's last three races, placing fifth twice and fourth a third time.
One thing the Trojans have been is consistent with their placers. Senior captain Pat Fontaine was their second racer in two races and was eighth and 12th overall. On the race Fontaine wasn't there, junior Alex Merberg was the team's second racer and was Weston's fourth and fifth finisher in two other races. Also finishing in the top six for the Trojans were seniors Andrew Nakas, Gavin Pomerantz and Jesse Prager and sophomore Peter Robins.
The Weston girls skiing team split their last three meets, beating Lauralton Hall, Amity and Danbury while losing to Barlow, Greenwich and Fairfield. Senior captain Michelle Smith led the Lady Trojans in all three races, taking fifth place each time.
Senior captain Jai Retter, classmate Saskia Van Daalen, juniors Bonnie Guthrie and Halle Lucas, sophomore Caroline Quinn and freshman Anna Dickstein placed in the team's top six in at least one of the last three races.
