Lauralton Hall, St. Joseph and Kolbe Cathedral all advanced to the quarterfinal round in the state girls basketball tournament.
Lauralton Hall, the top seed in Class LL, defeated Glastonbury 39-24 and will face Mercy on Wednesday in the quarterfinals.
St. Joseph, the No. 2 seed in Class LL, had to go overtime before ousting Wilbur Cross 57-51. The Cadet will take on Manchester on Wednesday in the quarterfinals.
In Class M, sixth-seeded Kolbe Cathedral beat North Branford 57-28 and will meet No. 3 Windham on Wednesday in the quarterfinals.
Also, in Class M, Weston's Brittany Swanson had 16 points, including the 1,000th of her career in a loss to Windham.
