Glass container company glassybaby is bringing its goodwill message to Westport on November 18 with a 10 percent donation of all sales to RxArt, a charity that brings art to hospitals to inspire patients.

Glassybaby was founded by a cancer survivor and has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to cancer care and other charities dedicated to healing. The founder remembers sitting in treatment rooms with patients who could not afford bus fare, childcare and groceries during treatment, and glassybaby donates money to charities that meet those needs.

The containers, suitable as drinking glasses or as candle holders, are handmade by Seattle artists in more than 400 colors with names like hope, joy, merci, wet dog and creme brulee.

The sales event, from 10 to 4 p.m. is hosted by Marcia Falk and Pam Krausmann at 3 Lone Pine Lane in Westport.
