This week as part of our annual year end roundup we take a look at Weston single family home sales for the year 2010 as reported by the Consolidated Multiple Listing Service.

Weston market home prices for 2010 were essentially unchanged from 2009, but time on market improved and sales volume rose. In 2010, 120 homes sold, a 30.4 percent jump from the 92 home sales in 2009. The average 2010 sales price was $934,639 compared to the 2009 average of $936,173. The median 2010 sales price was $830,000 compared to the 2009 average of $825,000. Average time on market improved in 2010 to 120 days from 131 in 2009. The highest selling home price in 2010 was $2,430,000. There are 88 single-family homes currently for sale.

Sales of the four homes with two bedrooms or less averaged $416,750; the 19 homes with three bedrooms averaged $585,415; the 57 four bedroom resales averaged $900,479 and the 40 homes with five or more bedrooms averaged $1,200,988.

Forty three homes sold in the price range $200,000 through $700,000; 33 homes sold in the price range $700,000 through $1 million; 32 homes sold in the price range $1 million through $1.5 million, 6 homes sold in the price range $1.5 million through $2 million and 6 homes sold in the price range $2 million through $2.5 million.
